Achievements of the Institution

• The institution has well-equipped Labs, Workshops, Library, Gym, and well-established Girls' Hostel and Boys' Hostel.
• The institute conducted training programs on open-source technologies for students under the Spoken Tutorial Project of IIT Bombay and MOOCs/SWAYAM.
• The institution has a well-placed Training and Placement Cell, which provides assistance to students to get placed in renowned companies. The students of the Automobile Engineering 2024 Batch have achieved 100% placement.
• The institution has an Apprenticeship and Internship Cell, which helps students avail various apprenticeship and internship opportunities in well-renowned companies through online portals.

• Mr. Hem Raj, a student of Civil Engineering batch 2008-11, has secured 1st Position in the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Exam.
• Mr. Mahaveer, a student of Civil Engineering batch 2009-12, has secured 3rd Position in the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Exam.
• Mr. Sourabh Kumar, a student of Civil Engineering batch 2011-14, has secured 1st Position in the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Exam.
• Mr. Mahesh Chand, a student of Automobile Engineering batch 2009-12, has secured 2nd Position in the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Exam.
• Mr. Mahesh Kumar, a student of Automobile Engineering batch 2011-14, has secured 1st Position in the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Exam.
• Mr. Abhishek Rana, Mr. Shubham, and Mr. Pankaj Choudhary, students of Automobile Engineering batch 2014-17, secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions respectively in the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Exam.
• Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, and Mr. Rahul Choudhary, students of Automobile Engineering batch 2015-18, secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions respectively in the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Exam.
• Mr. Sourabh Dhiman, a student of Automobile Engineering batch 2021-23 (LE), secured 2nd Position in the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Exam.

Extra-Curricular Activities

• The institution won First Prize in Gazal at the H.P. Inter Polytechnic Culture Meet 2008-09 held at Govt. Polytechnic Hamirpur.
• The institution won Second Prize in Group Song at the H.P. Inter Polytechnic Culture Meet 2010-11 held at Govt. Polytechnic Kangra.
• The institution showcased their project for exhibition at Tech Fest 2010 held at Govt. Polytechnic Sundernagar.
• In 2014, this institution won a Gold Medal in Basketball at Hamirpur.
• This institution won Gold Medals in 400m and 200m, and a Bronze Medal in 100m (Girls) at the Sports cum Cultural Meet held from 15/04/2015 to 19/04/2015 at Govt. Polytechnic Sundernagar.
• This institution won Second Prize in Solo Song/Ghazal competition held from 15/04/2015 to 19/04/2015 at Govt. Polytechnic Sundernagar.
• This institution’s team participates annually in the Inter Polytechnics Sports Meet in Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Kabaddi, Basketball, Athletics, etc.
• This institution has formed a Red Ribbon Club and participates in various activities from time to time.
